Why didn't I think of this?
A web site called Antenn-Aidis selling band-aids to cover the spot on the new iPhone 4 from Apple susceptible to a weakened signal if the phone comes into contact with human skin.
"Apple made a boo-boo. Make it all better," is the sales pitch. Buy a six-pack for $4.99 plus shipping.
How fantastic is this product?
"Works like magical," says the manufacturer. "When placed over the lower left corner of the antenna it may improve signal performance." There's an asterisk attached to that last statement, as the web site explains the Antenn-aid is for entertainment purposes, and "results may vary. Made on a Mac."
It's also a style statement!
The product comes in "Colors you can see with the human retina." And it's technical specs? "Um...it's a sticker."
As of this writing, they've sold 297.
