FABER: WE'RE GETTING MORE DETAIL ON THE EXPECTED FILING OF THE PROSPECTUS FOR THE GM IPO. SOMETHING YOU'VE TALKED A LOT ABOUT ON YOUR SHOW. THE HOPE IS THAT THE FILING WILL BE MADE THIS FRIDAY. PERHAPS A BIT SOONER THAN SOME HAD ANTICIPATED.OF COURSE, THERE'S BEEN A GREAT DEAL OF ATTENTION GIVEN TO THE FACT THAT WE WILL GET THAT PRELIMINARY PROSPECTUS DETAILINGTHE IPO OF GM IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF WEEKS. THE BANKERS AND LAWYERS WHO ARE PREPARING THAT, LIKE SO MANY OTHERS AT THIS TIME OF YEAR, AREHOPING TO GO ON VACATION. SO THE HOPE IS THAT THEY WILL ACTUALLY FILE THAT IPO BY THIS FRIDAY. COULD BLEED OVER INTO EARLY NEXTWEEK, ALTHOUGH, AGAIN, THE AIM IS TO GET THAT FILED ON FRIDAY. THAT, OF COURSE, AS YOU WELL KNOW, ERIN, DOESN'T MEAN WE'RE GOING TO ACTUALLY SEE GM SHARES FOR QUITE SOME TIME.THE SEC REVIEW WILL FOLLOWSOMETIME IN THE FALL WHEN THE MARKET IS DETERMINED RIGHT TO HANDLE WHAT WILL BE A VERY LARGEOFFERING, WE'LL GET THE PRICING OF THE GM IPO. NONETHELESS, THE FILING ITSELF WILL GIVE US ALL AN OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN JUST EXACTLY HOW DETAILED AND HOW LARGE THAT TURNAROUND AT THE AUTOMAKER HAS BEEN. ONLY A YEAR SINCE IT EMERGED FROM BANKRUPTCY. BACK TO YOU.
FABER: I DON'T BELIEVE YOU'RE GOING TO SEE ANYTHING PARTICULARLY CREATIVE WHEN IT COMES TO IT. IT SOUNDS TO ME AS THOUGH IT'S GOING TO BE A STRAIGHT AHEAD IPO TYPICAL OF ALL THE ONES WE'VE SEEN OVER THE YEAR. AS FOR SIZE AND WHAT'S GOING TO BE ON THE COVER, HARD TO SAY AT THIS POINT. THERE IS EXPECTED TO BE SOMETHING DETAILED ON THAT. YOU CAN ALWAYS SORT OF GIVE A BROAD RANGE. BUT WE WILL GET DETAILS, OF COURSE, ON CERTAIN OTHER FINANCIALS. AND, AGAIN, ON WHAT'S GOING ON IN CHINA AND SO MANY OF THE OTHER THINGS THAT AT LEAST THOSE WHO ARE PREPARING THIS IPO TELL ME WILL BE VERY POSITIVE WHEN ONE LOOKS AT THE EXPECTATIONS FOR GM.
BURNETT: DAVID FABER, THANK YOU VERY MUCH. AS DAVID GETS MORE, OBVIOUSLY, YOU'LL HEAR IT HERE ON CNBC FIRST.
