A feature film, "How To Beat the High Co$t of Living" will air Sunday, September 5th at 11pm ET on CNBC.
"How To Beat The High Co$t of Living" (1980) – Jane (Susan Saint James), Elaine (Jane Curtain) and Louise (Jessica Lange) are all feeling the effects of inflation and cannot afford the high cost of living. The local mall is having a contest that features a giant money ball, Elaine comes up with a plan to steal the money out of it and split it three ways.
