MUMBAI, Nov 12 (Reuters) - State Bank of India plans to issue a benchmark sized five-year euro bond, Chairman O. P. Bhatt told reporters on Friday. A benchmark bond offer is typically $500 million or more. IFR reported earlier that SBI planned a euro bond issue of 500 million to 750 million euros ($680 million-$1.02 billion). Bhatt also said there is an upward bias in interest rates, and credit growth was picking up.
