Top Communicators Honored at PRSA Gala 30+ Year PR Veteran Sue Brush, APR, Garners Lifetime Achievement Award

SEATTLE, Nov 12, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- The Puget Sound Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) will honor five outstanding communications professionals for their many contributions to the field at its upcoming Holiday Gala on December 7, 2010.

Sue Brush, APR, a public relations veteran with more than 30 years experience in the industry, will receive the top honor as PRSA Puget Sound's 2010 Lifetime Achievement Award recipient. Brush retired in 2009 as a senior vice president at Starwood Hotels & Resorts, parent company of Westin Hotels & Resorts. She is both accredited (APR) and a member of the College of Fellows for the Public Relations Society of America. She has also been honored as the local chapter's "PR Professional of the Year," named Westin's "Most Empowering Officer" and selected by Travel Agent Magazine as one the "100 Most Powerful Women in Travel."
