TOKYO, Dec 15 (Reuters) - Japan's largest tyre maker Bridgestone Corp said on Wednesday it would spend 16.6 billion yen ($199 million) to raise production capacity at a factory in Thailand making radial tyres for trucks and buses. Production capacity at the plant in Chonburi will be raised by approximately 2,500 units daily to about 10,500 by the first half of 2014, the company said in a news release. Many Japanese automakers are expanding production capacity in Thailand, where the domestic auto market is growing rapidly.
