CNBC.com attracts more unique visitors in January than any other month on record
CNBC Mobile sets multiple records
ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J. – February 10, 2011 – CNBC.com, the online destination for global business news and expert analysis, had its best month ever in terms of uniques and its best January ever in page views. According to the latest data from comScore Media Metrix, the site was visited by 6.6 million unique users last month, a 39% increase compared to the same time period last year, and recorded 312 MM page views, a 32% increase year-over-year.
CNBC Mobile, which includes CNBC Mobile Web, CNBC’s Real-Time iPhone App and CNBC Real-Time Android App, cumulatively achieved a record 118 MM page views across all of these products last month, a 66% increase compared to the same time period as last year. In January, CNBC Mobile Web attracted a record 1.9 MM uniques and scored a record 67 MM page views, a 47% increase year-over-year. CNBC’s iPhone App recorded 47 MM page views, an 81% increase compared to January 2010, and crossed the one million download mark. Users consumed a record 4.8 MM page views on the CNBC Real-Time Android App, launched April 2010, a 15% increase over the previous month (Source: Omniture).

-CNBC.com is one of the most engaging business news sites on the web. Last month, users spent an average of 17 minutes per visit. Additionally, an average of 47 pages per visitor were consumed, more than any other site in the category (comScore Media Metrix’s Business/Finance - News/Research category among sites with > 1MM visitors).
