The huge cache of bank documents held by Wikileaks is dated and perhaps a bit dull.
But they are definitely from Bank of America.

Mark Hosenball of Reuters reports that three people "familiar with the WikiLeaks leaders private discussions about the material" say that Julian Assange has privately said he does not know if the documents really contain big news or scandal.
They said that Assange said it consists of e-mails from the hard-drive of a Bank of America executive's computer and that the latest messages are dated sometime in 2006.
The sources said that Assange privately acknowledged the material was not self-explanatory and that he personally was unable to make much sense of it. Assange indicated it would require a substantial amount of effort by financial experts to determine whether any of the material was newsworthy, according to the sources.
So it now looks like we can decisively settle the question of whether these documents were about Bank of America. As Joe Weisenthal of Business Insider points out, that early date suggests that the documents are not about the acquisitions of Countrywide or Bank of America.
We're not that surprised that Assange cannot evaluate the emails on his own. But it is surprising that he would talk them up so much if he isn't sure how important they are.
