Since Europe has closed today, US stocks have moved fractionally lower, oil has moved up, and the CBOE Volatility Index (VIX) has moved up.
It's likely not due to Europe (European stocks closed near the lows for the session), but due to concerns about political unrest spreading to Saudi Arabia.
Reuters was reporting about calls for protest in that country are being reported, with some Saudis using Facebook calling for a "day of rage" to demand an elected ruler and greater freedom for women.
