Until Japan's nuclear reactors are shut down, Cramer on Tuesday said there will be peril in the markets.
Stocks will rally once the crisis is resolved, though. After all, the Federal Reserve on Tuesday said it's not tightening and China seems to be less concerned about inflation. Cramer thinks earnings will soon dictate the direction of the market.
The "Mad Money" host plans to watch for several key earnings this week, including those from Nike and Lululemon on Tuesday. There is huge short interest in both names, but Cramer expects they could both tell a good story. On Thursday, Cramer plans to monitor 3M's analyst day.
Once the threat of a nuclear disaster is off the table, Cramer thinks earnings will drive the market and investors will like what they hear.
