Banks Raise Dividends as Anticipated

JPMorgan raised its quarterly dividend to $0.25 from $0.05, and announced a $15 billion buyback, Wells Fargo to $0.12 from $0.05 and a 200 million share buyback, US Bancorp to $0.125 from $0.05 and a 50 million share buyback. BB&T to $0.16 from $0.15.

These announcements have been widely anticipated in the analyst community.
