Time Warner Global Media Head Going to Facebook

Facebook has hired Mark D'Arcy to be its director of global creative solutions for the company's advertising business, according to a report by the Wall Street Journal.

D'Arcy is currently the president of Time Warner's Global Media Group, where he has helped create content for Time Warner's advertising partners.

D'Arcy's responsibilities at Facebook will include developing new ways for advertisers to leverage on the company's large database of users.

A native of New Zealand, D'Arcy will start with Facebook in May.
