*A searchable, real-time transcript appears side-by-side with most U.S. videos as they are played.
*The unique “jump to” feature allows users to click on any point in the transcript and start the video from that point.
*The “auto scroll” feature offers users the ability to sync the transcript with the video they are watching.
-Sharing Videos: Users can now share entire clips or a selected portion of the video they want to share by email or on a social network.
-Embedding Videos: Other web sites and blogs will now have the ability to embed a clip from CNBC.com and choose the start and end points selected by the user.
-Related Content and Videos: The video player will automatically serve up related content/videos to what the user is watching.
-Comments: Users now have the ability to share their thoughts alongside the clip they have viewed.
-Stock Symbol Look Up: Users can also browse the comprehensive video library based on a company's stock symbol.
Today’s announcement comes on the heels of a record setting month for CNBC.com. In March, the site had its best month ever in both unique visitors and page views. According to the latest data from comScore Media Metrix, CNBC.com was visited by 7.8 million unique users last month, an 83% increase compared to the same time period last year, and recorded 381 MM page views, a 64% increase year-over-year.
