WHEN: Today, April 26th

WHERE: CNBC's "Fast Money Halftime Report"

Following is the unofficial transcript of breaking news from CNBC's Jane Wells. All references must be sourced to CNBC.

JANE WELLS: MELISSA, TALK ABOUT ONE LUCKY DUCK. THE NEW VOICE OF THE AFLAC DUCK IS A 36 YEAR OLD FATHER OF THREE FROM HUGO, MINNESOTA NAMED DAN MCKEAGUE. LOOK IT. MCKEAGUE SUBMITTED HIS AUDITION ONLINE HE WAS CHOSEN FROM MORE THAN 12,000 AUDITIONS WHICH INCLUDED MANY WELL KNOWN ACTORS. HE IS THE SALES MANAGER FOR TWO RADIO STATIONS IN MINNEAPOLIS WITH EXPERIENCE DOING VOICEOVERS, BUT HE CAN SOON FEATHER HIS NEST WITH WHAT COULD BE A SIX FIGURE INCOME BASED ON SAG RESIDUALS -- THIS IS ME GETTING THE NEWS HERE FROM AFLAC BUT I ALREADY KNOW -- STARTING WITH THIS NEW AD INCLUDING HIS VOICE. LOOK. THERE HE IS. MCKEAGUE WON THE GIG LOST BY GILBERT GOTTFRIED AFTER THE COMEDIAN MADE JOKES ABOUT JAPAN AFTER THE QUAKE. MOST OF AFLAC'S REVENUES COME FROM JAPAN SO IT WAS NO JOKE. COMPANY SAYS IT'S IMPRESSED WITH MCKEAGUE'S VOCAL RANGE AND ACTING ABILITY OF PLAYING THE FAMOUS DUCK. THE NEW VOICE, NOT THAT DIFFERENT FROM THE OLD ONE. MCKEAGUE ALSO HEAVILY INVOLVED IN CHARITY IN THE TWIN CITIES. AS WE LOOK AT AFLAC SHARES WE DON'T KNOW WHETHER HE ACTUALLY OWNS ANY AFLAC INSURANCE YET. HE IS THE DUCK TO BE COVERED. BY THE WAY THE COMPANY ANNOUNCES EARNINGS TOMORROW.
