Pops & Drops: Biogen, Travelers ...

Following are moves you might have missed. Find out why shares of Biogen and Travelers popped while Chipotle dropped.

POPS (stocks that jumped higher)

Biogen popped 15%. The company was upgraded to overweight from neutral at Piper Jaffray, upgraded to neutral from sell at Goldman Sachs.

UnitedHealthpopped 8%. The group's quarterly profit soared past estimates, fueled by growth across its health plans and continued benefits from Americans' moderate use of health care services.

Travelerspopped 4%. The insurer said first-quarter profit rose 30 percent on an increase in policy sales and lower catastrophe costs. The company lifted its quarterly dividend 14 percent to 41 cents a share.

DROPS (stocks that slid lower)

Chipotle dropped 4%.The Denver-based restaurant chain reported operating margin at the restaurant level in the first quarter was 25.2 percent, down about 0.9 percent from a year earlier.

BB&Tdropped 2%. The company had disappointing revenue figures after its earnings report.
