Halftime: Top Traders Watching These 4 Stocks

As stocks extended losses after a dismal jobs report on Friday, the "Fast Money" traders were watching these market movers:

POPS (stocks that went higher)

GT Solar International (SOLR) popped 10%: The solar and LED equipment maker received a $460.4 million order from a Chinese firm, OptionMONSTER.com's Pete Najarian said. Looking at this stock on a P/E basis, he thinks it's a very inexpensive play on alternative energy.

Morgan Stanley (MS) popped 1%: All of the financials are going up, RiverTwice Capital's Zachary Karabell said. Yet he's not interested in the stock.

DROPS (stocks that went lower)

MGM Resorts (MGM) dropped 3%: The casino and resort operator is not yet oversold on the long-term, Stuart Frankel's Steve Grasso said. He wants to see the stock hold its 50-day moving average at $13.92 for a few days before he considers buying shares.

Diamond Foods (DMND) dropped 3%: The food company's stock has been overbought, Trutina Financial's Patty Edwards said. On Thursday, Diamond Foods posted a profit for its third quarter and raised its full-year outlook, but the net income fell short of analyst forecasts. Edwards didn't like its results, though, so she's a seller.

CALL THE CLOSE

As Friday's "Fast Money Halftime Report" came to an end, the traders revealed how they plan to play the market.

"This is a pretty measured correction, so even if it may want to go down, I think it's still a good opportunity to get moderately long," Karabell said.

Grasso, on the other hand, is a seller.

Najarian is looking at pharmaceutical stocks because he thinks they could go higher.
