Domino's Pizza delivered better-than-expected quarterly profit Tuesday and the company’s CEO told Cramer the company is just getting started.
“We’ve got global momentum right now,” CEO Patrick Doyle said.
Both domestic and international sales are strong for the pizza delivery chain. Domino's reported third quarter sales that were up 3 percent in the United States and 8.1 percent internationally. While almost half of its 9,500 stores are international, Doyle said the company is “no where near being done internationally.”
DPZ has also moved into the digital age. Doyle pointed out that almost 30 percent of orders are now digital, either online or mobile. And that has helped the company save on costs.
"Our corporate stores just did a terrific of driving efficiencies, but part of that ... is the digital play," he said. "When the customer is placing their own order, we don't need somebody standing there taking their order, so you can kind of ease off on the labor a little bit."
