EIGHT CANDIDATES CONFIRM PARTICIPATION IN THE “YOUR MONEY, YOUR VOTE: THE REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE” BROADCAST ON CNBC ON WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 9TH AT 8PM ET

Debate Hosted by CNBC, The Michigan Republican Party and Oakland University

ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J., November 2, 2011—CNBC, First in Business Worldwide, today announced that eight candidates have confirmed participation in the “Your Money, Your Vote: The Republican Presidential Debate,” on Wednesday, November 9th at 8PM ET. The debate, hosted by CNBC, the Michigan Republican Party and Oakland University, will focus on the key issues facing voters—jobs, taxes, the deficit and the health of our national economy.

Confirmed participants, in alphabetical order, are:

Michele Bachmann, U.S. Representative from Minnesota

Herman Cain, Former CEO of Godfather’s Pizza

Newt Gingrich, Former Speaker of the House

Jon Huntsman, Former Governor of Utah

Ron Paul, U.S. Representative from Texas

Rick Perry, Governor of Texas

Mitt Romney, Former Governor of Massachusetts

Rick Santorum, Former U.S. Senator from Pennsylvania

CNBC will broadcast the debate live from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan, on Wednesday, November 9th at 8PM ET.
