LONDON, UK, 15 March 2012 -- CNBC, the leading global broadcaster of business and financial news and information, has re-signed its partnership with the Marussia F1 Team to be the official exclusive global ‘Business Media Partner’ for the 2012 Formula One season, which gets underway 16-18 March in Melbourne, Australia.
The partnership gives CNBC branding on the sides of the new Marussia F1 Team race car, on the driver’s racesuits, in the team’s trackside environment, as well as hospitality. The partnership provides business-to-business opportunities for the Marussia F1 Team and to its commercial partners, through the reach of CNBC’s worldwide TV network and CNBC.com.
CNBC’s global audience of affluent and highly influential business leaders, and the team’s fast-growing fan base, can also look forward to Formula One news updates and on air content around a number of marquee Grand Prix events throughout the season.
The first chance to see the CNBC identity as part of the livery of the team’s new MR01 race car will be at the Australian Grand Prix on 18 March.
