Advisory Board Member - Anne Dinning

Anne Dinning has worked for the D.E. Shaw group, the global investment and technology development firm, for most of the past 22 years.

She is currently a managing director and holds a variety of senior posts in companies sharing the D.E. Shaw brand: member of the executive committee of D.E. Shaw & Co. LP and D.E. Shaw & Co. LLC, in which she jointly supervises the D.E. Shaw group's worldwide asset management business; chief investment officer and executive committee member of of D.E. Shaw Investment Management LLC; and an executive committee member of the D.E. Shaw group's private equity and real estate investment committees.

Earlier, Dinning was managing director responsible for the firm's worldwide asset management activities and the firm's international broker-dealer business in London.

Dinning is a member of the asset managers' committee of the President's Working Group on Financial Markets, which was created in the wake of the 1987 stock market crash.

She has received the industry leadership award presented by 100 Women in Hedge Funds, serves on the board of Math for America and is a member of leadership council of the Robin Hood Foundation.

Dinning earned a Ph.D. in computer science from New York University's Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, where she won the Howard Grad Memorial Award for Outstanding Ph.D. Candidate.
