Julia La Roche

Julia La Roche is a news associate for CNBC.com. She studied broadcast journalism at the University of North Carolina–Chapel Hill. While at UNC, she contributed to the award-winning student-run newscast "Carolina Week" as a reporter and served on the production crew. Outside of academic life, she was a member of the university’s equestrian team competing in the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association. In 2007, she was a guest on CNBC's “The Big Idea” with Donny Deutsch for her and her younger sister's business, Flea Tea, Ltd., the all-natural, non-toxic flea remedy for cats and dogs.
