Lee Baker is a certified financial planner and the founder, owner and president of Apex Financial Services in Atlanta.
Atlanta Magazine has repeatedly recognized Baker as one of the top wealth managers in Atlanta. He was honored as an Investopedia Top 100 Financial Advisor in both 2020 and 2021, and he was an inaugural recipient of the Investment News Diversity and Inclusion Role Model Award in 2018. Baker was also selected as a Riskalyze Advisory Appreciation Award winner in 2021.
Baker is a past president of AARP Georgia, and continues to serve AARP as regional volunteer director for the Large Region. He is the past president of the Georgia Chapter of the Financial Planning Association and served on the National Board of Directors for the Financial Planning Association from 2008 to 2010.
Over the years, Baker has been quoted in various publications including Black Enterprise Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, Kiplinger's, Christian Science Monitor, MarketWatch and Financial Planning Magazine. He hosts the personal finance show "Level Up with Lee" on FinStream.
