Prior to joining the Washington bureau, she was the San Francisco bureau chief, helping launch the operation in 2015 and build CNBC's tech coverage in the Bay Area. She also spent two years in the Los Angeles bureau as a field producer covering media and technology. In addition to her broadcast experience, Mary Catherine launched and created the business network's first-ever social media team. She began her media career as an NBC page.
