Michael Newberg

Michael Newberg is the supervising producer of CNBC's "Closing Bell." Previously, Michael was a field producer in CNBC's Los Angeles bureau, where he covered media, social and general news ranging from the San Bernardino shootings and Hurricane Harvey to the Brexit vote and the 2017 eclipse. Before that, Michael was a segment producer for CNBC's 5 p.m. ET show, "Fast Money." Prior to joining CNBC, Michael worked at MSNBC's "The Ed Show," and on NBC News' 2012 election coverage team. Michael is a graduate of NBC's Page Program, where he held assignments on "Saturday Night Live" and at CNBC. He graduated from Colgate University and is a native of Buffalo, New York.
