Sally Gilligan, Gap

Sally Gilligan is the chief information officer for Gap, overseeing the company's technology organization that serves as the engine that drives retail, e-commerce and global enterprise technology for millions of customers.

Gilligan has been with Gap for more than 14 years, serving in a variety of roles in the organization with a focus on process and economic optimization. Prior to serving as CIO, she served as senioir vice president of product operations and supply chain strategy, where she led a global team responsible for building and deploying capabilities to enable the end-to-end demand-based operating model. This included sourcing and fulfillment strategy, product management for all operations design through inventory management and fulfillment, and advanced analytics for product costing, inventory and network optimization. 

Prior to joining Gap, Gilligan has 10 years of management consulting and financial services experience. She holds a BS degree from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., and an MBA from University of Chicago.
