Stacey Widlitz is President & Chief International Store Hunter of SW Retail Advisors and a retail expert with more than 15 years' experience analyzing the global retail sector.
Splitting her time between London and NYC, Stacey is known as the International Store Hunter. After more than a decade as a senior equity analyst covering retail on the sell side at several investment banks, Stacey founded SW Retail Advisors in 2011. The firm, with offices in London and New York City, provides retail market intelligence and analysis to investment institutions and corporations. It also provides a unique, on-the-ground perspective from Europe, analyzing U.S. retailers that have gone across the pond in search of growth. Stacey is also an active angel investor in the Consumer and Fintech space. She is on the Board of Secret Spa, a leading in home spa service provider in the UK.
Prior to 2011, Stacey held senior equity research positions for more than a decade at several Wall Street firms covering a wide range of retailers including: Specialty Apparel, Hardlines, Discounters, Department Stores, Dollar Stores and Luxury. She most recently was instrumental in launching the research department at Pali Capital in 2005. Before that she held senior research positions, covering retail equities at Fulcrum Partners, Cowen and UBS. Stacey started her retail career as a buyer for a major department store.
Stacey holds an undergraduate degree from Tulane University and an M.B.A. from NYU's Stern School of Business.
