Stephanie L. Ferris is chief financial officer of Worldpay, a global leader in integrated omni-commerce payments that processes more than 40 billion credit and debit card transactions annually. With a career that spans more than 20 years, she is a transformative business leader with expertise in strategy formulation and execution, acquisitions, spin-offs and IPOs.
Worldpay, a $4 billion worldwide leader, was formed in early 2018 when Cincinnati-based Vantiv acquired Worldpay Group, a London-based leader in global e-commerce and technology-led payment solutions.
Ferris had been CFO of Vantiv since 2016. She was designated CFO as part of a new management team tasked with transforming Vantiv from a U.S. payment processor to a global fintech leader. Ferris was an instrumental member of the Vantiv team that led the $11.9 billion acquisition of Worldpay Group.
In 2018 she was named CFO of Worldpay, responsible for the company's 325-person finance department and its overall financial strategy. Her responsibilities include accounting, financial planning and analysis, treasury and investor relations.
Prior to becoming Vantiv CFO, Ferris held a general manager role and transformed an underperforming business unit into the highest growth portfolio within the company.
Earlier in her career, Ferris was CFO of the payments processing division of Fifth Third Bancorp, which later spun out and became Vantiv. She also held multiple progressive financial leadership roles at Fifth Third after beginning her career in public accounting at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Ferris is a certified public accountant and graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
