Tracy Thompson

Tracy Thompson is a senior video producer with CNBC Make it. Before joining CNBC she worked as a senior producer for CNN's Great Big Story where she helped lead a team in creating global human interest documentaries. Prior to that, she's led teams at legendary digital platforms such as Jezebel, and The Root. During the Covid pandemic, she launched Urban Stories, a digital media production platform that helps non profits visually tell their stories. She received a double masters in journalism and documentary film from Columbia University Graduate School of journalism in New York City.
