Bitcoin potentially holds a lot of promise: Lawsky

New York officials are holding a public hearing where law enforcement and computer engineers will provide insight into bitcoin. Benjamin Lawsky, New York State Department of Financial Services superintendent of financial services, says one of the aims is to determine whether businesses accepting or transferring bitcoin should be regulated.
