Driving GM's flawed ignition switch

CNBC's Phil LeBeau drives a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt, one of 2.6 million GM vehicles recalled for a faulty ignition switch. With him on a Connecticut test track is Jake Fisher, the Director of Auto Testing at the non-profit Consumer Reports. Fisher demonstrates how the faulty switch can inadvertently shut off the engine, even while driving, disabling the power steering, power brakes and airbags.
