Republicans pick up 5, hold their own

CNBC's John Harwood reports Republicans have gained five Democratic seats so far in the U.S. Senate. The biggest surprise of the night, he says, is how close the Virginia race is between incumbent Democrat Mark Warner and Republican challenger Ed Gillespie.
