How two college friends turned their class project into a growing success

Eben Bayer and Gavin McIntyre, co-founders of the earth-friendly biomaterials company Ecovative, started off as college friends, but soon turned their idea into a successful business. Starting their company with just $515,000, Ecovative uses nature's resources, like flax, canola, and mushroom mycelium - or "nature's glue"- to produce furniture and packaging products that are formaldehyde-free, safe and eco-friendly.
