Einstein's success was in large part due to his upbringing. Both of his parents fostered a rich, nurturing environment for Einstein to grow, according to Harvard Kennedy School professor Ronald Ferguson. Not socially adept and with a short attention span, much of his childhood development was fomented in the home.
