Hollywood writers battle with talent agents to get updated deal before Sunday expiration

The Writers Guild is at odds with the Association of Talent Agents over their forty-year-old agreement. If the two groups do not reach a new agreement by Sunday when the contract expires, writers may fire all of their agents, making it a lot harder for studios to hire writers ahead of the crucial pilot season in Hollywood.
