A wildfire burning north of Los Angeles exploded in size overnight, forcing evacuations. The so-called "Saddleridge fire" broke out in the community of Sylmar. Fueled by winds gusting up to 60 mph and dry vegetation, the fire grew from 60 to nearly 4,000 acres. Fire crews say dozens of homes have gone up in flames. At least 74 structures have been destroyed and 16 others were damaged.
