Chemical plant explosion forces families out of their homes on Thanksgiving
A massive fire at a Texas petrochemical plant exploded on Wednesday, but the fire has continued burning more than 36 hours later. More than 50,000 people were forced to evacuate their homes ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday. Three people were injured in the explosion and several nearby businesses and homeowners saw property damage. A class-action lawsuit was filed against the plant on behalf of those residents whose property was damaged.
