How ABLE accounts are changing the lives of the disabled

Millions of people with disabilities rely on government assistance for income, food and housing. Many benefits provide social and other supports but require recipients have less than $2,000 in savings. The "Achieving a Better Life Experience Act of 2014" (ABLE Act) created a powerful savings tool for people with disabilities called an ABLE Account.
