Locusts are infesting East Africa and destroying crops in countries that depend on agriculture. In recent days, they've invaded South Sudan, Uganda and Tanzania—that's after they decimated crops in Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, Eritrea and Djibouti. The situation is 'extremely alarming,' according to the U.N.'s Food and Agriculture Organization and could damage countries' GDP if it continues.
