US unemployment rate could hit 15%-20% peak in April: Moody's Analytics

The U.S. unemployment rate is likely to peak in April as many small U.S. businesses risk going bust from the coronavirus crisis' economic fallout, says Mark Zandi, Moody's Analytics' chief economist. He adds that job losses will have a more "significant" impact on those who are less skilled and less educated as well as older workers.
