Cargill CEO: 'The food system is under strain but it is incredibly resilient'
The chairman of major meat producer Tyson warned earlier this week that the food supply chain is broken due to the stress of the coronavirus pandemic. Meat packing plants have closed across the industry as workers have become ill and the supply of pork and beef has fallen. President Trump also invoked the Defense Production Act to secure meat production. David MacLennan, chairman and CEO of Cargill, joins "Squawk Box" to discuss the state of the industry and the impact of Covid-19 on food supply chains.
