Hong Kong enters a 'new era' of direct rule by China, says Civil Human Rights Front

Hong Kong has entered a "new era" of direct rule under the national security law by China, says Eric Lai, vice-convener of the Civil Human Rights Front (CHRF). He also expresses "serious concern" for people who try to raise international awareness or involvement regarding Hong Kong's situation, saying their actions risk being criminalized under the new law's jurisdiction.
