Bank analyst Mike Mayo breaks down the best bank stocks to invest in

Mike Mayo, bank analyst and managing director at Wells Fargo Securities, joins CNBC's "Halftime Report" to discuss how he views bank stocks, and his outlook for their performance, after earnings results. He's calling for the Citi CEO to step down. Citigroup has disappointed on execution, strategy, controls, and now there's a new regulatory consent order, says Mayo. We estimate the parts of Citigroup are worth 50 percent more than the whole. So Citi's worth more dead than alive, he adds.
