Former FDA chief on Covid-19 risks related to air travel amid holiday season
"There is risk of transmission—you're in a confined space. If you're close to other people, in the right circumstances, someone may be infected right around you. You're passing things back and forth. It's not going to be risk free in a confined space," Dr. Scott Gottlieb, member of the boards of Pfizer and biotech company Illumina and former FDA commissioner, told CNBC's "Squawk Box" Monday.
