First cases of a new Covid strain have been identified in the US—Here's what's known so far
The first cases of a new Covid strain have been identified in the U.S. after it was discovered in the United Kingdom. It has been identified in Colorado and California. "Now, to be clear, that doesn't mean that Colorado is the first state that has people with the variant. In fact, it's very likely it exists in many states, particularly states that have more interaction with the United Kingdom, in the New England and Mid-Atlantic area," said Colorado Gov. Jared Polis.
