Online lender SoFi to go public via SPAC merger

Virgin Galactic chairman and billionaire tech investor Chamath Palihapitiya talks to CNBC's Halftime Report about online lender SoFi going public in a SPAC merger worth $8.65 billion. With Anthony Noto, SoFi CEO and board member. They discuss why the company decided to go public via SPAC rather than an IPO. Noto, who is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, also comments on yesterday's Capitol siege, which he says is intolerable and unacceptable.
