Consumer spending outlook is not bright, Morgan Stanley strategist says

Morgan Stanley Chief Global Strategist Ruchir Sharma tells Closing Bell that bright outlooks regarding consumer spending are flawed and don't account for the fear people still hold after the 2008 financial crisis. "Even if you look at the past year and how Americans have been spending their stimulus checks, what we find is that about a third only has been spent," Sharma says.
