Global theater CEO discusses launching new show 'Cabaret' despite the Covid pandemic

Mark Cornell is the CEO of Ambassador Theatre Group which operates 58 venues worldwide, including across New York's Broadway and London's West End. He spoke to CNBC's Tania Bryer days after the launch of new musical "Cabaret," starring Oscar-winning actor Eddie Redmayne. The production has seen London's 139-year-old Playhouse Theatre transformed into a 1930s-style cabaret club with a reduction of nearly 200 seats to help create a more immersive experience. Since the interview was recorded and amid rising Covid rates in the U.K., the production temporarily closed due to "COVID-enforced absences" within the production.
