U.S. fusion breakthrough could change world's energy future

The Dept. of Energy just announced fusion energy breakthrough at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in California. The reaction generated more energy than was used to initiate the reaction. Fusion is how the sun makes power, and recreating a useful fusion reaction has been difficult. But this breakthrough means fusion could move from the lab to a usable source of energy.
