Fix for iOS 7 users having problems with texting

Take a stroll through the Apple message boards or the tech blogosphere and you'll find no shortage of outrage over the new iOS 7 operating system for iPhones.

From the-software-makes-me-seasick complaints to it's hard to read to it's a battery suck are typical fare.

Another major thread surrounds an apparent problem with iMessage texts—Apple's iPhone to iPhone messaging solution—not going through.

MacRumors posted this solution on Monday:

1. Go to Settings, Messages, and then turn-off iMessage.
2. After that, go back to Settings, General, Reset (at the bottom), and Reset Network Settings.
3. Last step, go to Settings, Messages, and turn iMessage back on.

While you're there, make sure you have Send as SMS turned on if you want your text messages to go through even when iMessage is unavailable (remember, carrier charges may apple to SMS messages).
