Clint Jones wants to coexist with Obamacare's online marketplace.

The CEO of GoHealth.com, which last week rolled out an online workaround to the federal government's troubled exchange, told CNBC on Tuesday that both websites have the same missionto help people navigate a complicated decision-making process and find the best health-care plan.

The , after promised fixes from the White House this past weekend, calls into question the necessity of the alternative website.

"We look at this like a partnership," Jones said on "Squawk on the Street." "The main goal of the administration and for us is to help the millions of insurers who aren't insured to get insurance coverage. We're just an alternative path to get coverage for consumers."
